Emir Karademir

Emir

Emir’s meeting with art dates back to his pre-school years, who started painting after he had asked himself the question “What should I do?”. Of course, it is not an easy task for a young man to ask himself this question and set goals. One of the factors that enabled him to ask such a question at an early time was that his grandfather noticed and encouraged the scribbles he made when he was very young. Having completed his primary education at Modafen İlköğretim Okulu and his secondary education at İ.Ü.V. Adıgüzel Fine Arts High School, he graduated from Yeditepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Plastic Arts and Painting in 2024.

Emir, who attracted the attention of his teachers with the difference in his works while he was studying at the fine arts high school, continued his art education outside of school, as well. His answer to the question “What should I do?” has become increasingly clear as he interiorized constant visits to exhibitions on one hand, and to artist workshops on the other as his daily routine. The original attitude of Emir Karademir, who is aware of his distinct condition caused by “Asperger” identified during his primary school years, and who, in a way, tries to express his experiences therefrom, paved the way for him to be more free in his paintings.

The biggest dream of Emir Karademir, whose passion for motorcycles and automobiles is reflected in his paintings, is to travel the country by buying a caravan and to paint in it.

Emir tries to define himself with his unique attitude that emerges in his works. The compositions of stains and lines he draws with his own sense of color help you understand Emir’s attitude on the surface. His personalized attitude is the main element that distinguishes Emir from his peers.
